Nick Cannon Just Welcomed A Baby Boy — But Is He About To Lose Custody Of His Twins?
After quitting his longtime hosting gig on America's Got Talent, Nick Cannon has announced his next project: Fatherhood.
Cannon revealed in a sweet Instagram post that he and his ex-girlfriend, Brittany Bell, welcomed a son Tuesday.
"Weeping may endure for a night, but Joy cometh in the morning!" Cannon wrote in the caption. "No matter how hard the world may hit you, God always reminds us of our purpose!"
"#TrueHappiness #Awakened," he added.
Golden "Sagon" Cannon is the 36-year-old comedian's third child; he has two 5-year-old twins — a daughter named Monroe and a son named Moroccan — with his ex-wife, Mariah Carey.
And speaking of the Diva in Chief: Cannon is threatening to sue the National Enquirer over an article it published, which claimed Mimi is trying to get sole custody of their children because Cannon suffered a mental breakdown.
As theGrio pointed out, Cannon said in another Instagram post that the allegations are "MORE LIES!!!"
"So the @enquirer wants to play around with my children," Cannon wrote in a separate Instagram post. "Only Evil operates in this manner. What is the purpose? Except to exemplify pure immoral wickedness. If you report these lies expect a slander and defamation lawsuit. Look everyone, see how the media is trying to break a King?
"It’s all good though, I’m a warrior!," he continued. "I was built for this! Me and my family, my mindset, and my spirit are all stronger than ever. I felt like releasing this so called ‘journalist’ info to the public so you all can get at them, but instead I release nothing but positive energy into the Universe. No weapon formed against me shall prosper! I receive help through prayer and patience! #Blessed #Awakened."
Clearly, Cannon's Instagram account is the place to be lately.
