Are y'all ready for this? A police officer in Ohio spent his Thanksgiving in the hospital after he was injured with a taser during the arrest of a suspect. The twist here? He was shocked by his own partner! We couldn't make this stuff up!

Check out the video footage:

The two officers were responding to a report of domestic violence  on Thanksgiving Day when they approached the suspect, Christopher McClinton, 22, who was sitting on the the passenger side of a vehicle.

McClinton reportedly refused to show identification after officers requested it repeatedly, then the suspect allegedly refused to get out of the vehicle, leaving the officers no other choice.

The two officers, who have not been named, pulled McClinton from the vehicle and he began to resist, they say. After the suspect refused to cooperate, according to the Dayton Daily News, that's when one of the officers pulled out his taser.

During the altercation, one of the prongs of the taser hit the suspect, McClinton, and one hit the officer's partner. The officer that was struck by the taser instantly fell backwards to the ground and suffered a head injury as a result.

The officer was taken to a local hospital for treatment and is expected to be OK, Dayton Daily News reported.

As for McClinton,  he was arrested and charged with obstructing official business, failure to disclose personal information, and resisting arrest. He pleaded not guilty to all three charges.
