Omarosa Manigault Newman, 43, Trump’s apprentice on TV and at the White House, has resigned. From what?, you might be wondering. I mean, did you even remember she was there?

The former star/villain of Trump’s TV show “The Apprentice,” will be leaving on January 20, 2018. Press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said at a press conference that Newman resigned “to pursue other opportunities.”

Oddly enough, her departure was announced only a few days after The James Corden Show aired a humor segment called: What the F*uck Is Omarosa Doing in the White House?

There was also an article in The Daily Beast that set off some speculation, titled: No One Knows What Omarosa Is Doing in the White House—Even Omarosa

Some folks are claimed that Newman didn’t resign at all, but rather was, in true Apprentice fashion, “fired.”

Either way, to add fuel to the fire, Uncle Sam then slapped her with a $30K tax lien, according to The Blast. Reportedly, court documents uncovered indicate that Omarosa owes "$21,811.08 from 2005, $1,658 from 2012 and $7,237.67 from 2014."

Newman’s official title was Assistant to the President and Director of Communications for the Office of Public Liaison. She pulled in $179,700, the top salary allowed by law for White House aides.

She worked on outreach to historically black colleges and universities and racial disparities in the military justice system, but it was her social life that hogged headlines.

She married Florida pastor John Allen Newman at Trump’s Washington hotel in April, and used the White House as a backdrop for her wedding photos, which she got in trouble for. Her $25,000 dress was provided by the TLC reality show, “Say Yes to the Dress.”

The New York Times reported in September that chief of staff John Kelly had put her on a “no-fly list” of aides who he did not consider fit to attend serious meetings. Hmmm.

Newman has been unusually quiet, but Sanders said, “We wish her the best in future endeavors and are grateful for her service.”
