Only 8 Supporters Came to This Trump Rally In Portland. Is Anyone Surprised?
It looks like this Trump rally in Portland didn't have such a yuuuuge turnout after all.
William Hall, a Portland-based Trump supporter, organized the rally at Monument Square in response to the anti-immigration ban rallies. Yeaaaah...it didn't go so well.
Hall and the other 7 people in attendance believed the immigration ban was the right call, so they decided to get together and let the world know how they feel.
"We need to do better background checks on immigrants coming into this country," said Hall. "We have borders for a reason. Having open borders is like having a home without walls, plain and simple."
"I'm just kind of letting you know there's another side to the story," said Trump supporter Doug Prevost. "Letting people know [Trump] has an awful lot of backers behind him."
Twitter obviously had a field day with this news:
As always, they had to add some "alternative facts" about the rally:
Saddest. Rally. Ever.
