Oreo Beer is a Thing That Exists and We Need It NOW
Hornswoggler

I don't know about you guys, but I never turn down an Oreo. There's something about the classic combination of cream sandwiched between two chocolate cookies and dunked in a glass of milk, that reminds me of childhood, after-school playground hangs, and lazy summer days.

And on the opposite side of the spectrum, I also never turn down a beer because, well, I'm an adult and I like to unwind after a long day with some type of adult beverage. So imagine my surprise when I stumbled upon this treasure that one could literally only dream of (until now): OREO BEER.

Now, before you immediately revert to the statement, "OMG! That's so gross!" hear me out. Have you ever had a chocolate stout? IT'S DELICIOUS. Chocolate and beer is actually a phenomenal combination, so we're SO excited that The Veil Brewing Company in Richmond, Virginia has come up with this amazing concoction! It's like the perfect combination of adulthood and childhood and we can't get enough of it!

According to the brewery's Instagram, they "took their 7% robust chocolate milk stout and Hornswoggler and conditioned it on hundreds of pounds of Oreo cookies."

Umm, sounds AMAZING, right?

People who were lucky enough to grab a four-pack of the dessert-like beer before it sold out posted a ton of photos on social media that made us insanely jealous!

And if you're wondering what those little floaties are in the glass above, no worries. It's supposed to be like that.

"There may be some residual fermentable sugars from the cookies from the cookies in the beer. We highly suggest keeping these cans as cold as possible at all times," the brewery suggested. "We also suggest consuming this beer as fresh as possible for the most intense Oreo character possible."

The Oreo beer also made an appearance on The Chew recently, which is SO cool!

If the beer keeps gaining nationwide attention like that, maybe, just MAYBE we'll be able to pick it up in stores sometime soon! Until then, if you want to try the ultimate chocolate adult beverage, you're gonna have to head into The Veil Brewing Company's taproom out in Richmond, Virginia.
