Pennsylvania Day Care Worker Fired After Shoving Child Down A Flight Of Stairs
You can't make this sh*t up.
Sarah Gable, a 52-year-old day care worker in Pennsylvania has been fired from her job after shocking video footage showed her shoving a child down a flight of stairs.
Gable was arrested after the newly placed surveillance cameras at the Child Care of the Future day care caught her getting aggressive with a 4-year-old girl. It makes you wonder what else she was doing when there weren't cameras...
Upper Darby Police Superintendent Michael Chitwood told NBC Philadelphia that Gable threw the child down the steps without reasoning.
Shawayne Tavares, a manager at the daycare, was one of the individuals that watched Gable's disgusting behavior on camera.
"I was so upset. I had tears in my eyes," Tavares said. "She picked up the shoe and tried to come to the end of the stairs like, 'Oh, it was her shoe' that caused her to fall. I'm like, 'It's not her shoe, I just watched you on camera do it.'"
The scary thing is that Gables was an employee at Child Care of the Future for a year, but had been in the child care industry for 25 years, according to CBS Philadelphia.
Gable is currently walking free after being released on a $25,000 bail. Let's hope she never works in the child care industry again.
Oh and remind us not to send our kids to daycare...
