Just because you can sell pretty much anything on eBay doesn't mean that you should. The auction site can help you get top-dollar for any and all of your precious valuables. Need proof? Check this out. Somebody just sold a Cheeto that looks like the dearly-departed gorilla Harambe for a whopping $99,900!

Yep. You read that right. While that money could feed a whole lot of hungry people, some fool spent almost $100K on some food that they aren't even going to eat. SMH.

The 1.5-inch long Flamin' Hot Cheeto was advertised by user valuestampsinc as a collectible like fine artwork, a timeless statue, or a vintage car: "I opened up a bag of Flamin' Hot Cheetos and as soon as I looked inside I came across this unique Cheetos that looks like Harambe the gorilla," the story reads. "This item up for bid is only for this unique Cheetos, bag not included. This makes a great collectible for anyone who appreciates rare items!" Check out the site listing:

Yes, Ladies and Gentlemen. This is the world in which we live. What, if anything, can be learned from this little exercise? Here are a few takeaways:

1) Stock in Frito Lay must be skyrocketing now as eBay Harambe Cheeto suppliers must increase their on-hand inventory;

2) The problems of homelessness and hunger won't soon get better if people keep this mindset;

3) A fool and his money are soon parted.
