Protesters Pull A Kendall Jenner & Throw Pepsi At Police During May Day Protests

As it turns out, giving police officers Pepsi to ease tensions doesn't work out unless you're a supermodel living in an alternate universe. 

A May Day protest in Portland turned disastrous on Monday after protestors threw full cans of Pepsi at police officers. 

What started as a peaceful anti-Trump rally quickly descended into a war zone when protestors decided they wanted to pull a Kendall Jenner and hand (or in this case throw) Pepsi at police officers. However, Pepsi didn't save the day this time around. 

The moment protestors started hauling Pepsi cans at police officers, hell broke loose. People started destroying police cars, damaging local buildings, and starting fires in the middle of the street. 

"The situation devolved into a full-scale riot with random acts of vandalism to downtown businesses, cars, and public and private property," according to the Portland Business Journal.

At least 25 people were arrested and the protest was canceled “due to numerous incidents of thrown projectiles, incendiary devices, and other unsafe conditions."


And to think this all started because of a failed Pepsi commercial...
