It's pretty crazy how out of control rumors can get. Sometimes it's like rolling a snowball down a hill in winter and watching it turn into a wrecking ball of icy cold doom. Celebrities get the brunt of this unfortunate trend and with the amount of tabloids on checking stands around the world, there is no sign of change coming anytime soon.

With that in mind, let's take a look at some of the craziest celebrity rumors that have cropped up recently and either confirm them or put them to bed once and for all.

1. Tupac is Alive

Even though Tupac Shakur died in Las Vegas, Nevada on September 13, 1996, many people still believe he is actually still alive. Of course this is wholely untrue, but Tupac has since become a martyr in the hip hop community and his legacy lives on through his music.

2. Miley Cyrus Has Been Replaced by a Double

Has Miley Cyrus become a pod person? Whispers started up around Hollywood around the time the famous singer cut off her wavy locks and started swinging around on construction equipment. Once again, this is ridiculous and there is no proof for this rumor.

3. Taylor Swift Posts Anonymous Nudes

This squeaky clean pop star might be posting cropped nudes on a popular 4chan message board. This one seems to come out of left field. However, someone out there has actually compiled evidence to prove this one true. Whether or not you view this evidence and agree with it is a whole different matter.

4. Walt Disney's Head Has Been Cryogenically Frozen...and is Hidden in Disneyland

Nope. Just...all the nope. Walt Disney is not frozen in the basement/sewers/catacombs beneath Disneyland or its sister park Disney World. In fact, his family has gone on record stating that the famous animation mogul was actually cremated. It looks like the Happiest Places on Earth are not in fact home to a talking Disney head hidden in the graveyard scene of the Haunted Mansion ride.

As you can see, you should probably take the next rumor you hear with a grain of salt. Chances are it isn't true ... unless it is...
