A schizophrenic drug and guns dealer has confessed to killing, burning, and burying four men on his family's farm. Cosmo DiNardo was charged with four counts of first-degree murder. An accomplice, who happens to be his 20-year old cousin Sean Katz, was also charged in three of the deaths. Both men are in custody, but many questions loom about why DiNardo had access to weapons and marijuana considering his very troubled past.

Leading up to this horrific incident, DiNardo became increasingly aggressive. The motives for these crimes are said to stem from drug deals gone bad. But to shoot, torch, and bury Mark Sturgis, 22, Thomas Meo, 21, Loyola University student Jimi Taro Patrick, 19, and 19-year old Dean Finocchiaro in a pit that is 12 1/2 feet deep is beyond extreme.

Considering his well-documented medical history of mental illness, being banned from Arcadia University where he was a one-time student, getting into a fight at a strip club, aggressive threats on social media, and more than 30 contacts with police since 2011, someone should have seen this coming. What's worse is that, on his own admission, DiNardo may have also killed two other people in Philadelphia.

"Cosmo was crazy," said 20-year old Amber Peters. "He's been talking about killing people since he was 14... He randomly messages girls saying, 'Hey, babe,' calling them hoes and trying to have sex with them."

Just last year, DiNardo's behavior took a turn for the worse after an ATV accident where he suffered a head injury. Friends say he became unrecognizable and he was hospitalized for a mental health issue. "The Cosmo I knew for over 10 years would never be capable of anything like this," longtime friend Chris Hellmuth wrote on his Facebook page.

The fact that DiNardo comes from a well-to-do family could have a lot to do with why friends are reluctant to go on the record about his violent and troubled history. Police have seemingly given him a pass as well. His father Antonio owns Metro Ready Mix and Supply and inherited an impressive real estate portfolio. His mother Sandra operates Bella Trucking which delivers concrete for Metro Ready Mix. They are now being questioned by authorities because their son has become a public nuisance under their watch.

Fortunately, neither DiNardo nor his cousin will be getting out of jail anytime soon. DiNardo's confessions will keep him from getting the death penalty, but Katz's fate is up in the air. One thing's for certain--it is impossible to look the other way anymore where Cosmo DiNardo is concerned. At least four people are dead because of him and someone will have to answer for that.
