As a reporter, it's your job to get the answers the general public so desperately craves. That's exactly what American Urban Radio Networks' correspondent April Ryan was doing when asking Sean Spicer a simple question about how the White House plans to repair their image after...well, everything that has been happening.

Ryan was telling zero lies, referencing the Trump administration's alleged ties to Russia and the wiretapping claims. However, Spicer totally lashed out.

"April, hold on, it seems like you're hell-bent on trying to make sure that whatever image you want to tell about this White House stays," he said. "I'm sorry, please stop shaking your head again."

Yeah, he seriously just told a grown successful black woman to stop shaking her head for doing her job. See for yourself:

April's post-press briefing tweet says it all:

The journalism veteran received a tremendous amount of support from fellow female journalists, and even got a shoutout from Hillary Clinton. It's also safe to say Melissa McCarthy will imitate the situation on SNL.

On Tuesday afternoon, April defended herself on MSNBC.

"I understand what Sean is doing . Sean is being the White House press secretary, talking about and trying to make this administration look better than what it does right now and, unfortunately, I was road kill today," Ryan said.

Although Spicer is known for his anxious, on-edge demeanor, his behavior with April was far outta line. Let's be honest, it doesn't come as a surprise that the reporter Spicer lashed out on was a black woman.

The moment Spicer told Ryan to "stop shaking her head," we were all shaking our heads at home. SMH. (Literally.)
