Selena Gomez Just Shared A Teaser For Her New TV Show & It Looks Seriously Powerful

Back in the spotlight again after a rehab stint to "focus on her mental health," Selena Gomez just teased her "passion project" — and it just might be her most compelling work to date.

Gomez and her mom are co-producing 13 Reasons Why, a TV show based on a mystery book of the same name, according to Teen Vogue. The show will tell the story of a boy named Clay who finds a box of cassette tapes from Hannah, his former classmate/crush who committed suicide.

While its subject is dark, this show addresses a simple yet important question that all of us should be thinking about: How are our actions impacting the lives of others? 

13 Reasons Why premieres on Netflix on March 31, but in the meantime, you can check out the first trailer below:
