Sergeant Under Fire For Racist Video Rant Saying 'Black Female' Subordinates ALL Have Attitudes
Be clear: Yes, there are many white and other women of color that resist against Trump and rock pink hats during the Women's March, but they can also be anti-Black AF, too.
Case in point: This non-Black female Air Force sergeant is under fire for posting a video of herself making some pretty crazy comments about the African-American female soldiers that work under her.
Apparently in her eyes, they ALL have attitude problems and don't understand the concept of respect.
According to the Las Vegas Sun, Tech. Sgt. Geraldine Lovely, who was stationed at Nellis Air Force Base in Las Vegas, has since deleted the inflammatory video that shows her using all kind of cuss words and racial stereotypes to make her ignorant point.
“They’re talking down to me. I’m trying to tread lightly as a higher-ranking (non-commissioned officer) to not blow the f*** up and start a fight club,” she says in the video.
“Every time I f***ing talk to them, it’s like I’m just some stupid a** girl that doesn’t even deserve to be talked to as a person,” she continues.
Listen...Geraldine recorded this entire thing in her uniform!!! Watch this mess for yourself:
Obviously as this video started trending online, the Air Force officials got wind of it and have punished her by “removing [Geraldine] from her supervisory role,” the Sun noted. Is that really harsh enough though?
In the meantime, the Air Force claims that they want to use this video as a means of figuring out if racism is a widespread issue on their base and to spark a conversation about race relations within the ranks.
“While the actions of this individual are inappropriate and unacceptable, we are using this information to continue a dialogue with our Airmen about the topic of good order and discipline,” an official form the base said in a statement.
REAL TALK: You don't need a video to find out if someone is racist. STOP IT! And did they think about how showing this video over and over again is going to harm Black soldier's spirit? Ugh....
FAM: Can you believe this? What do you think should happen to her? Weigh in...
