"Wait! Mama! Come On!”: Dancing Mom Crashes Daughter’s Video...Duo Goes Viral
When aspiring entertainer Dajia Davis posted a live video of herself singing a ballad on Twitter, she hoped it would go viral. It did. But not for the reason she’d hoped—over 5 million people saw, shared, and applauded—when her mom got in on the act and stole the show.
"Wait! Momma, come on!” Davis shouts when she notices her mother bustin' moves in the background. “Come on, I sounded good!" She laughs, and can't go on.
Davis later posted the video to YouTube, writing: “Believe me this all happened so naturally! I was in the middle of recording the James Arthur cover Say You Won’t Let Go and my mom starts dancing in the background. Hilarious!!”
Let’s face it: We’ve all been embarrassed by momz at one time or another. But when it gets you 5.1 million views, well…you can’t be mad.
Even better, Dajia Davis can SING! She posted a video of her singing the whole song without the mom-bomb.
