Project Runway co-host and mentor Tim Gunn has been teaching us how to "make it work" since the fashion design reality show launched in 2004 — and if you haven't figured it out by now, he's going to call you on it. Even if you're Kanye West.

The rapper/designer/self-proclaimed genius' Yeezy Season 4 debuted last Wednesday during New York Fashion Week, and while the models were hot — like, some of them literally passed out from heat exhaustion — the reviews were not.

"Kanye's fashion show was a total disaster," announced a New York Post headline.

"This is shameful and horrible and I regret coming. #YeezySeason4," tweeted Stella Bugbee, the editorial director of The Cut.

"Adidas should be embarrassed," wrote a Women's Wear Daily reporter. (The shoe company makes Yeezy sneakers in collaboration with West.)

When asked about the show on Access Hollywood this Tuesday, Gunn's review was no kinder.

"I’m totally perplexed about why the fashion industry has not looked at these frankly dumb, basic clothes and cried, 'Hoax! Hoax!' " he said. "I mean, Kanye West is a sphinx without a riddle. I just don’t understand why people are so in awe. I mean look at this, they’re basically stretch undergarments."

Gunn, who's known for his signature sass, was not holding back — and when one of the hosts asked him if people are actually buying West's clothes, he got even harsher:

"I think the only thing dumber than these clothes would be the people who buy these clothes."

O. M. F. G.

This isn't the first time Gunn had laid into Kanye's collection. Back in 2015, he told the NY Daily NewsNY Daily News, "I’m on record having said (Kanye's designs) are basic, what a dear friend of mine, Grace Mirabella (former editor in chief of Vogue), calls dumb clothes. It’s not fashion."

Kanye hasn't responded to Gunn's most recent criticism, but in an interview with W Magazine this summer, he had some choice words for his critics:

"I refuse people who write me off as some rich kid taking a hobby, fashion as a fucking hobby or a fashion plate. ... I will fucking laser you with alien fucking eyes and explode your fucking head. Shut the fuck up – try to write a rap. Okay then. I made this fucking T-shirt, now shut up. And it cost me everything I had and I gave everything I had."

Allllllllllrighty then.
