Congrats! Sterling K. Brown 1st Black Actor to Win Best Lead in A TV Drama #GoldenGlobes

Sterling K. Brown is one of the best things about the hit drama series This Is Us. And now, he’s got one of the most coveted prestige awards given in Hollywood to prove it! #Congrats

Brown made history as the first-ever Black actor to win in his category: Best Lead in a TV Drama. 

In his moving and heartfelt speech, he thanked This Is Us producer Dan Fogelman for writing “a role for a black man that can only be played by a black man. I am being seen for who I am, and appreciated for who I am—and that makes it that much difficult to dismiss me and anybody who looks like me.”
