Are you ready to get started?
Yup, thought so. Check out the recipe below:
Ingredients
2 cups strawberries
1 peach
1 lemon
1 lime
1/2 teaspoon brown sugar
1 750 mL (-ish) bottle rosé
1/4 cup rum
4 tablespoons ginger simple syrup (recipe can be found here)
Lemon zest and lime zest for garnish (optional)
2 cups club soda
Directions
(These directions are going to be pretty dang simple.)
Slice your strawberries, peach, lemon, and lime into thin things and place at the bottom of a pitcher. Sprinkle the brown sugar on top of the fruit. Take the end of a long wooden spoon (or anything similar with a flat surface) and muddle the fruits together. Don’t turn them into mush, though — you want them to look like fruit still for presentation purposes.
Combine the simple syrup, rum, and the bottle of rose in another glass or bowl. Once mixed, you can pour this mixture top of your fruit medley.
The fruit and liquid pitcher should then be placed in the fridge for at least an hour. You want to give all of the flavors a chance to really meld together.
When you are ready to start entertaining get the pitcher out and get to partying! Right before serving, you will want to add your club soda to the mix. This will give the final product a fizzy, frothy, fun texture that guests will love. It will fit in perfectly at a backyard BBQ or a summer party of any sort.
