How Could This New Mom Say No To A Marriage Proposal That Involved Her Newborn Baby?!

If you show me a proposal video, I can pretty much guarantee I'll get choked up. But a proposal video that includes a newborn baby?! Consider me WRECKED.

In a clip captured by a midwife, just minutes after 22-year-old Lauren French gave birth, her boyfriend, Shane Brinkley, enlisted the help of his newborn daughter Neveah Rose to help him propose to her mom.

According to the Peterborough Telegraph, 25-year-old Shane secretly placed a onesie that read, "Mummy, will you marry my daddy?" on Neveah before handing her back to Lauren. As Lauren realized what was happening, she broke down in tears — and said yes, of course!

“I wanted to make the proposal different — I’d been planning it for 8 months. It was really difficult to keep secret, only Lauren’s mum and my best mate knew I was going to do it," Shane told the Telegraph. 

The couple has since gone home with little Neveah, who's "settling down brilliantly to her new surroundings," according to Lauren.

"She has made my family complete," she added.

Next up for the happy couple: planning a wedding!

"We are hoping to have the chance to sit down and discuss it properly very soon, in between naps!" Lauren said.
