Teen Mom Arrested After Taping Her 2-Year-Old To A Wall On Facebook Live

Kids run around and get into things all the time, especially toddlers. One young mom came up with an idea to get her kid to sit still...or hang still in this case. Little did she know, her punishment would land her a ticket straight to jail!

Ohio mom Shayla Rudolph, 18, found a way to restrain her toddler-aged son by taping him against a wall! Yes, she used packing tape to hold him up, and also covered his mouth with tape too as the boy cried. This story probably wouldn’t ever have came out...but the young mom was bold enough to record the entire thing on Facebook Live! 

 “Don’t make me put more tape up there,” Shayla says on the video.  “Now sit still, you can see the TV from there, you’ll be all right.”

Police were tipped off to the video last month and did some digging around and charged Shayla with felony abduction charges, since “the child’s liberty was restrained,” according to police. Meanwhile, the toddler was placed into child protective services, but was expected to be eventually placed with family members.

We’ve heard of some crazy punishments that parents have dished out to their kids, but this is downright insane! Especially to do to a toddler! Kids run wild at times and need to be disciplined, sure, but this was definitely inappropriate. And then she had the nerve to record it for Facebook views thinking it was cute SMH. Bet she’ll think twice before trying something like this again!
