The Product That Makes Rihanna's Red Carpet Nails Pop

The best thing about a good beauty product when it can be used beyond its advertised purpose. We all know that lipstick can double as blush and that conditioner works great when you've run out of shaving cream, but now Princess Riri has introduced us to a new way to use a product in a way we'd never expect.

BB cream already pulls its weight in our beauty collections by being coverage, SPF, and skin nutrients in a bottle, but the way Rihanna's nail artist used it for her 2017 Grammy's manicure has doubly solidified it as a miracle all-in-1 product. 

In lieu of her usual bold, statement nails, Rihanna opted for something more subdued this year. "She wanted to keep the look natural to accentuate her healthy manicure," nail artist Kimmee Kyes told E News. After shaping her nails, Kyees simply painted over them with Orly BB Cream ($15) for a nail treatment and pretty nude mani with just one product! So, next time your nails are screaming for a break from acrylics and gels, consider pulling a Rihanna (never a bad idea, in our opinion) and baby them with some BB cream!
