In 2013 alone, 6.3 million people erased crows feet, forehead lines and wrinkles with this minimally-invasive cosmetic procedure. 

Blepharoplasty – AKA Eyelid Surgery

In the same year as the entire population of Tennessee (we mean, number of folks equaling state residents) chose to inject their face with mildly paralyzing toxins… 200,000 folks reshaped their eyelids. Done both for cosmetic reasons and to improve obstructed vision, too much skin (or sagging skin) can contribute to the appearance of aging or, frankly, make it hard for some people to see. 

Lipoplasty – AKA Liposuction
Ahh yes, the American obsession with getting rid of unwanted fat becomes yet again apparent when you take into account that, in a single year, over 200,000 people have sucked their way to trimmer, more toned and less cellulite-tastic bodies. While this doesn’t surprise us at all, we find ourselves unable to come up with any witty quips and insights and, instead, find ourselves shuddering at the thought of that needle stick thingy being shoved under skin while vacuuming fat chunks out of saddlebags like Spacebags being filled with sweaters for the winter.
