These Futuristic Concept Bikes Will Blow Your Mind
Concept motorcycles can truly leave you scratching your head wondering how they come up with stuff like this. These bikes are the inspirations of some of the most talented people in the world and we wanted to highlight five concept motorcycles that really get our motor running.
2016 Honda Neowing

At first glance, the 2016 Honda Neowing looks like a muscle-bound sports bike with three wheels. It’s sporty and attention-getting. The Honda Neowing was designed to provide the ride you would expect from a large motorcycle and the stability of a three wheel vehicle. The original Honda linkage mechanism on the front appears to be similar to the Piaggio MP3 which is one of the most popular three wheel bikes on the market today. It’s got a hybrid system with plenty of power combining a 4-cylinder engine with an electric motor. It even sports the iconic Honda wing badge on the front. We hope to see this in the market soon.
Hubless-Electric Honda Motorcycle

Mr. Tron Director, we’ve got the next bike for you. According to Yanko Design, the James Stumpf’s Honda CB160E pays tribute to the classic Honda 160 with a modern electric engine twist. It’s a wicked combination of retro and ultra modern. The bike includes dual MagDrive wheels, 10.1” master touch screen, electronic twist throttle and twist brake, and is supposed to hit speeds of just over 100mph and have a range of 160 miles.
The Ignition Concept

The Ignition Concept should have motorbike enthusiasts drooling. It comes from European drag racer and custom bike builder Urs Erbacher. Erbacher wanted to create a concept that put the new V-Twin engine, based on the prototype engine used in Victory Motorcycle’s Project 156, at the center of the bike. The Liquid-cooled four-valve engine has twice the overhead cams to give the bike class-leading power. The Marzocchi forks are prominent in the front and Erbacher says they “absorb a lot of bad on the streets.” The Ignition concept also features an aggressive stand, the engine is framed in cast aluminum chassis, and an aggressive Project 156 paint scheme.
Audi Concept Bike

This Audi Concept bike comes from Damien Vizcarra of 5:11 am Design. According to Damien, he wanted to know what a bike would look and feel like if Audi were to design it. The bike has a beautiful monolithic form that’s strategically divided around specific features. The Audi Concept Bike was conceived in the spirit of the Audi tradition and features a hybrid engine system, LED strip headlights, and a rear-view camera lens on the end of the handlebars so riders can get real-time feeds in their helmet. The single-sided swingarm and fork allow the quick removal of both wheels, and the bike is shielded with optical clear vent panels inspired by the Audi R8.
BMW Titan Concept

This BMW Titan concept was designed by Turkish Designer Mehmet Erdem who created seven other BMW concept motorcycles that are equally inspiring and push the boundaries of the BMW brand. It’s called the Titan, and honestly, the first person to ride this should be Batman in his next movie. According to Hypebeast, the forward thinking design apparently takes its cues from a shark. It’s completely enclosed on the front end, and the “gills” act as air intake for engine cooling. Intended for high speeds, the BMW Titan features an instrument cluster that will display vital information including suspension status, cooling system operation and more.
