These Two Guys Travel To College Campuses Soley To Perform Acts Of Random Kindness
The world could use a little more kindness, don't you think? Explore Kindess' Alex Radelich and Dalton Lemert sure think so. Currently based in Venice, California, these twenty-three year-olds have been traveling around the country in their RV to promote random acts of kindness, especially at college campuses.
Originally called the ARK (Acts of Random Kindness) Project, Explore Kindness is all about doing the unexpected and show just have far a small kind act can go. It can brighten someone's day or it can make dreams come true. There is no kind act too small.

One of their most popular social media videos is about "put-pocketing." A person puts a dollar in an unknowing someone else's bag. It is small gesture that leaves the giver and the surprised receiver feeling a little bit better about their day. I mean, haven't you loved it when you found an extra buck in the back pocket of your jeans?
In 2016, the guys traveled all over the mid-west to different campuses to inspire kindness. Radelich, an alumnus of Purdue University, started the group while still in school. Seeing the massive impact it had on his classmates, he decided to take it national. While on their 2016 cross-country extravaganza, they went to Auburn University, University of Louisville, and many more.
While the crew was in Nashville, Tennessee, they worked with rising country star Mickey Guyton to get one of her friends onto the infamous Grand Ole Opry stage. This friend was dying of cancer, and it had always been his dream to perform on the Opry stage. With the help of Explore Kindness and Guyton's clever string pulling, this man lived his dream.
If anything, Explore Kindness wants to encourage people to be kind to one another. Their mission is to create "a kindness epidemic," and, so far, it is working. Their presence in the universe is felt by all who have come in contact with Explore Kindness whether that be in person or online.
For more information, check out their website, YouTube Channel, Facebook, and Twitter. Having been featured on The Today Show, in The Huffington Post, and more, it is clear that the kindness epidemic has started. I cannot wait to see how many people it infects.
