This 7-Year-Old Sent A Job Application To Google And Got A Sweet Response From the CEO

If you ask any 7-year old what they want to be when they grow up, you'll most likely get a few similar responses. They would tell you that they want to be a princess, a rocket scientist, a firefighter, or a pop star. Chloe Bridgewater begs to differ. She wants to work at Google.

And like most job aspirants, Chloe sent in an application - a handwritten one at that!

It all started weeks ago, when Chloe's dad, Andy Bridgewater, told her all about the tech giant. The first-grade student asked him what he'd be doing if he didn't have his job selling refrigerator parts, and he told her about Google.

"I said Google would be cool and she asked why. So I showed her the pictures of their offices and the cool things they do," Andy told Mashable

The bean bags, slides, and go-karts were the things that most enticed Chloe to also want to work for the company. Because honestly, who wouldn't?!

Her dad suggested that she send in an application, so she did. She prepared such a sweet and adorable letter, and according to her, it's only the second letter she's written in her entire life (the first one was addressed to Santa, of course)!

Her letter was so adorable and compelling that Google CEO Sundar Pichai read it and even wrote a response!

The letter reads:

Dear Chloe,

Thank you so much for your letter. I’m glad that you like computers and robots, and hope that you will continue to learn about technology. I think if you keep working and following your dreams, you can accomplish everything you set your mind to — from working at Google to swimming in the Olympics. I look forward to receiving your job application when you are finished with school! : )

All the best to you and your family.

It's not exactly a job offer, but it's the next best thing!

Well done, Pichai. You've got yourself a successor. We don't see any reason why Chloe can't be the Google CEO in 20 years. She is quite the girl boss!
