Abused Pitbull Was Rescued After Spending Years Sleeping In A Concrete Basement And Now She's Living The Life
World, meet Lola the pitbull.

Lola is an adorable Pitbull who loves enjoying the little things, which include sleeping on couches, sleeping on rugs, sleeping on blankets and more. Although this in itself isn't a story, it becomes an adorable story when you find out that Lola used to be an abused pitbull. She spent the first 8 years of her life chained in a dark garage on a cold concrete floor.

We're genuinely not sure how anyone could ever do that to such an adorable dog, let alone ANY animal of any kind. According to Bored Panda, Lola was saved by Charlene von Saher, an angel lady living in Manhattan who has countless soft surfaces for Lola to spread herself across.

Despite Lola's tough upbringing as an abused pitbull, she is now the pampered puppy she always deserved to be. Charlene said this of Lola:
"She figured out where her little beds were, and what was soft and what was comfortable for her...She actually took a throw pillow off of my bed, and put it into her dog bed. When I came home, her head was on it — she literally made herself a little bed in her bed with my pillow. It was like ‘The Princess and the Pea’ — I guess she liked having multiple cushions underneath her.”
Ugh, the cuteness is overwhelming.

Lola was rescued by AMA Animal Rescue, and we are all SO happy that she was, including Charlene. She said, "I absolutely adore her. She's added so much to my life already."
Lola was chained to a wall when the rescue team found her, and she had to have several tumors removedand her teeth cleaned after being rescued, but besides that she's made a healthy recovery.
Oh, and did we mention that she's become a social media star? Lola has her very own Instagram page which is right about to break the 5,000 follower count.
For such a sad beginning, Lola now has the most amazing life with an owner who deserves all of that fluffy cuteness. All we can do is hope that she keeps falling asleep in the weirdest places...
