This Earwax Video Is SO Gross And We Can't Stop Watching

There was a time when pimple-popping videos were all the rage.

The above video from Dr. Sandra Lee (aka Dr. Pimple Popper), a certified dermatologist, has been viewed nearly 30 MILLION times! 

But pimple popping was so 2 years ago. Today, earwax removal is all the rage! 

The above video, from BuzzFeed, helped popularize the video-recorded ear wax removal. Why the heck is it so popular?! It may have to do with people feeling a sense of cleanliness while watching. Despite earwax being natural, there's something so soothing about watching icky, gooey wax getting cleanly pulled out of your ear. Plus, getting the wax is extracted is so much healthier than cleaning your ear with a Q-Tip because Q-Tips tend to push the wax deeper into your ear canal.

Currently, a particular ear wax removal is making the digital rounds, racking up views by the millions. It needs no introduction except for: WATCH THE WHOLE THING. The best part, like in most things, occurs at the very end.

The first 3/4s of the video are so amateur. There's barely any wax coming out. But then, at around the 0:39 mark, it's like an orgasm for the people into seeing solid chunks of wax get removed. No judgement if you're one of those humans! It does beg the question, what will be next?!
