Mark Twain said it best: We've never wished a man dead, but we've read some obituaries with great pleasure.

Here's one you might enjoy, too: Theunis Botha, a famous South African big game hunter whose bloody career spanned 28 years, died at age 51 last month after a wounded elephant fell on top of him.

Sometimes karma just throws the whole "subtle" thing to the wind, you know?

According to MSN, Botha was leading an afternoon hunt at Good Luck Farm near Zimbabwe's Hwange National Park on May 19 when they accidentally came across a herd of breeding elephants.

When three of the elephants spooked and charged the hunting group, a fourth came at them from the side and lifted Botha up with her trunk. Another hunter shot the elephant, causing her to fall and crush Botha.

Our sincerest condolences to the elephant and all who have gone before her, including this leopard....

Imagine needing to flex your masculinity by posing next to the corpses of innocent animals you slaughtered in their homes. Can't relate.

Botha's death has people on social media completely divided, with some defending his hunting gig and mourning his passing as others celebrate his particularly ironic demise.
