Okay, I don't care if they're basic or whatever... I freaking love pumpkin spice lattes. They taste like Fall, they get you the caffeine you need to deal with the kids, and they warm you up. The only things I don't like about PSLs are the insane amount of calories and the ridiculous price. 380 calories for a $5 drink? Yeah, no.

So I found this DIY alternative that tastes even better than the OG and is HEALTHY. Amazing, right? Here's what you need:

1.5 tbsp pumpkin purée
1/2 cup nonfat milk (or nondairy milk like soy or almond)
pinch of nutmeg
vanilla Stevia to taste
cinnamon to taste

The main ingredient is pumpkin purée, so get a can of the organic stuff or go total Martha Stewart and make it yourself. Just heat up the milk and pumpkin on the stove over medium heat until it simmers and add the Stevia and nutmeg. Pour the mix over a mug of coffee and top it off with cinnamon! It's so much better for your health and wallet (lmao) than the stuff at the cafe.
