This Is Officially The Best Way To Break In A New Pair Of Shoes

Finding a shoe that fits you as perfectly as Cinderella's glass slipper is almost impossible. Luckily, we've found a solution to the shoe-fit problem!

Whenever you buy a new pair of shoes, no matter how cute they are, there is one of two problems. They either don't fit you quite the right way, but you buy them anyways, or you have to break them in, which could take a lot of time, effort, and result in blistered feet.

After struggling to fit into a smaller size, because it was the only one left on the floor, or getting major blisters and bruises from "wearing in" your perfect new boots, enough is enough! We've finally found a process that'll make breaking in your shoes a lot less stressful and ideally way less painful.

According to PopSugar, there is a better way to fix your shoes and make them a "perfect fit," similar to Cinderella and her magical slippers. So what do you need to make the shoes in your closet fit like they were made for you? Socks and a hairdryer! It seems crazy, but it works.

Side note: Don't use this method if your shoes are plastic, because the heat can ruin them!

So here it is, the process to end all your shoe misery. Follow these easy steps and your feet will thank you later.

1. Find your thickest winter socks. They can be any color or style, as long as they are thick. Seriously, the thicker, the better.

2. Put on the socks and slip on your shoes while wearing them.

3. Grab your hair dryer and switch it onto a warm or hot setting. Next, start passing it over your feet for about 30 seconds.

4. Pay close attention to the areas of the shoes that were particularly tight and keep the hair dryer concentrated on those spots.

5. Wiggle your feet around while the hair dryer is applying heat, so they get more flexible.

6. Turn off the dryer and walk around as the shoes begin to cool.

7. Once they have cooled a little bit, slip off the socks, try the shoes back on, and gauge how comfortable they are.

8. Repeat this process until you've reached the desired comfort level.

Now that your shoes fit you perfectly, like Cinderella, all you have to do is go out and find your Prince Charming!
