This Man's Beautiful Proposal Took Over 3 Years, But Was Totally Worth It
Have you been fantasizing about the man of your dreams proposing to you since you were a kid like we have? Ever imagined that it would take almost three years, without you even knowing?
That is exactly what happened to Candice Catherine when her boyfriend of three years finally put all the pieces of the puzzle together.
The couple started dating in 2013 after a friendship blossomed into love. Maybe it was because they had been friends for so long before finally getting together, but Timothy knew he would spend the rest of his life with her.
The couple exchanged love letters, but it wasn't until Timothy took Candice on a romantic getaway to Watson Bay, Australia that it dawned on her that these letters meant something more than she knew.
Timothy had been strategically starting each love note with specific letters. He wrote 14 letters over the course of their relationship.
When the two went on the trip he brought all the letters with him so "they could relive the memories," or so he told Candice. When he strategically arranged them, the message was clear.
The first letter of each love note, when put together, spelled out "Will you marry me?"

We can't tell what is more romantic: the fact that he was so sure he wanted to marry her from the start that he invested in the proposal so early, or that he even came up with this idea at all! Whatever it is boyfriends and future husbands have big shoes to fill. Step up your game future fiancés.
If that wasn't enough for you, Timothy sang a song for Candice that he wrote after they had been dating for two months at their wedding. What is with this guy? Did he step straight out of a storybook?
The couple are now living happily ever after in Sydney.
