This Model Shuts Down Hater Who Said She'd Look Better With Light Skin

Twitter user @dopelike_mimi is an aspiring model and a student in Gaithersburg, Maryland, whose pictures are so gorgeous they were shared on a popular account for beautiful African people. 

Well, despite the Twitter account's celebration of dark skin, some ugly Internet troll decided to spew hate where it was not welcomed. 

A Twitter user replied to the photos saying, "If she was lighter, she'd be fire," with some fire emojis. Despite the ignorant and unwarranted tweet, Mimi has taken it in stride and her response has the Internet in love.  

The model shuts down the hater simply by saying, "No thanks. I wouldn't trade my skin color for the world ! Still 🔥 tho 😊"

Mimi's response was perfect, but not that she even needed to respond. Twitter was already clapping back to the tweet with their own versions of defense for the beautiful model. 

User @Maelgar replied to the ignorant tweet saying, "She's already fire, your eyes melted that's why you're blind and can't see beauty." 

Another pointed out the troll's awful grammar and dissed him for his spelling, as well as his hate. 

And how could someone not point out his ignorance and lack of brain? 

While Mimi responded to the one individual's insult, she hasn't stopped there. The model shuts down the hater and others just like him with a series of empowering tweets.

She has pinned her gorgeous pictures with the caption, "Melanin" 

Hopefully her tweets inspire others not to let ignorant haters get them down. There will always be someone that will try and take you down, but no matter what it's important to stay strong and love yourself for who you are!
