This Mom Accidentally Took A Selfie With Nick Jonas

We all know that it sucks being left behind from any vacation. It's even worse when your parents go away and keep you up to date with all the fun their having by texting you photos.

Well, imagine then that they get to see your biggest celebrity crush.

This is exactly what happened to Presley Peterson from Melbourne, Florida, when her mom went to Hawaii.

Presley's mom, Cheryl Potts, went to Hawaii and left Presley behind. Cheryl kept her daughter up to date on her whole vacation by sending pictures back.

One photo got Presley really excited, who also happens to be a huge Jonas Brothers fan. Cheryl sent a selfie to Presley while eating breakfast, and behind her was a familiar face.

Presley could see someone who looked just like Nick Jonas sitting directly behind her mom casually hanging out at breakfast. Right away she checked the singer's Instagram, and sure enough, he was on the same Island in Hawaii. Presley's mom had no idea she was sitting next to an international star.

The 18-year-old super fan replied, "Holy shit." She tweeted, "mom is sending me pictures of her and dad on vacation when all of the sudden," with a screenshot of the iMessage conversation. It instantly went viral and currently has over 7,745 retweets and 12,124 likes.

Cheryl originally thought Nick was just a random person that looked like her son's friend. She told Presley that he ordered an omelette and a salad.

The photo back happened in November and when Nick got back to the continental U.S. he immediately went to vote.

While the post gained attention from Jonas fans all over social media, past posts from Presley showed just how big of a fan she is. Old tweets like "just a reminder that I would take out a loan to see the Jonas Brothers in concert," and "I wonder if the people sitting next to me can hear the Jonas Brothers music I'm blaring rn," show just how painful being left at home must have been for her.

She also told Buzzfeed how exciting it was at first when the post started to go viral, but that after a while she couldn't even check Twitter because there were just to many notifications.
