'Three BLACK Men Raped Me': White Teen Arrested After Police Discover Her Story Was A 'Hoax'
Texas teen Breana Harmon Talbott, who claimed that three black men kidnapped and raped her in early March, admitted that it was all a lie on Tuesday, according to Denison police. The police department released a news release on Facebook saying her story was “unfounded.”
The 18-year-old was arrested on Wednesday in Denison, Texas, for making a completely fake report to police. It's unclear whether she will face any serious charges, but knowing our criminal justice system, she'll probably walk free.
Talbott was reported "missing" by her fiancé on March 8th. She was later found in a church, extremely bloody, wearing nothing but a shirt, bra and underwear. When police asked her to recount what happened, she claimed that "three black males" wearing ski masks kidnapped her from her apartment and rape her.

The interesting thing is there were actually visible cuts and scratches on her body. But after hearing her story, police are certain the crime scene was staged and her wounds were self-inflicted.
“Almost immediately, Talbott’s story and allegations began to unravel,” Denison Police Chief Jay Burch said in a statement. “Within only a day or two, detectives had doubts as to most of Talbott’s allegations.”
The Denison Police Department stated Talbott's allegations were “insulting to our community and especially offensive to the African-American community."
“The anger and hurts caused from such a hoax are difficult and all so unnecessary,” the department wrote.
Women like Talbott are the reason real rape victims are afraid to come forward. The teen clearly went through a lot of effort to stage the crime, and we're left asking one question: why? For attention? As a cover-up for something else? Because someone asked her to? For her own racist agenda?
We may never know for sure, but it's safe to say she did it for the latter.
