Today In #PhotoshopFails, Gigi Hadid And Kendall Jenner’s Legs Look Beyond Ridiculous In This ‘W’ Photoshoot
It seems like every other day we get a ridiculous Photoshop fail – but usually not by a respected fashion magazine:
W just released its 10th annual art issue, and the stars of the magazine are the only models who seem to exist anymore: Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid. Though if you look closely at the photographs, you may wonder how they got to the set at all…
These photos are part of a collection called ‘Placebo Pets’. I don’t know what that means either, but it’s the brainchild of artists Lizzie Fitch and Ryan Trecartin.
All of these are clearly heavily digitally edited – I’m not an expert on Jenner or Hadid, but I’m pretty sure neither of them actually has animal ears or pug noses IRL. Such features would be detrimental to a modeling career.
Of course, there’s nothing wrong with a little editing, especially when it’s all in good fun, and what could be more fun than Animorph supermodels?
But this photo has the internet shaking its collective head today:
First off, who thought WordArt was a good idea? 1998 called, it wants its font back.
But even more egregious than that are the two model’s legs. Check out those knees – or rather, lack thereof.
How does one walk if they can’t bend their legs? Holy overly airbrushed joints, Batman!
What’s more, there’s a massive unexplained bulge on the lower left side of Gigi’s dress. You don’t have to be Sherlock Holmes to figure out what happened: the ‘artists’ have messed with the model’s lower bodies so much, they can’t even remember how a dress is suppose to fall.
Gigi and Kendall are not Barbie and shouldn't be edited to look like her.
