If You're A Cryer, Don't Watch These 10 Netflix Movies

A good cry heals the body. At least, that's what I tell myself when I uncontrollably sob during a movie. Watching "Titanic" feels like a workout for my tear ducts, and a high intensive workout at that.

I can't help but enjoy the tremendous tragedy of certain films though. It's almost sadistic. But that's for a therapist to decide. All I can do is keep watching and bawling my eyes out. These Netflix picks always do the trick.

1. "What's Eating Gilbert Grape"

What is it about Leo?! I love him and cry for him.

2. "A Walk to Remember"

Promise you won't fall in love with her? How about promising you won't rip my heart out and cause me to lose my voice from crying so hard?!

3. "The Boy in the Striped Pajamas"

All Holocaust films are tearjerkers. This one, about the friendship between two boys, one of whom is in a concentration camp, is no exception. 

4. "Good Will Hunting"

Honestly, I cry just seeing Robin Williams act. Rest in peace.

5. "The Lovely Bones"

Can someone just give Saoirse Ronan an Oscar already?!

6. "One Day"

Even though she makes me cry in this and "Les Mis," I will always be #TeamAnne.

7. "Short Term 12"

See Brie Larson before she won the Oscar in this incredible film. Her talent is undeniable and the tears you'll cry will be unending.

8. "Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close"

Incredible actors like Sandra Bullock, Viola Davis, Tom Hanks, and John Goodman all give moving performance that will certainly move you to tears.

9. "Bridegroom"

It's a documentary, which makes the sadness hit even harder. The story is about two gay men, one of whom dies, and how the living one must deal with the unfair laws regarding the rights of same sex couples. Have the tissue box nearby.

10. "The Color Purple"

Young Whoopi Goldberg, Danny Glover, and queen-of-world Oprah Winfrey star in an unforgettable moving picture, certain to touch your hearts and tear ducts.
