Trump's First Easter Egg Roll Is Set To Be A Complete Disaster
We've all heard of the Easter Egg Roll, the iconic annual event the White House puts on for Easter. Trump, however, didn't get the memo.
His wife, Melania Trump, was supposed to orchestrate the event but according to The New York Times, she hasn't done a thing.
The First Lady is supposed to order the eggs in February. Instead, she apparently blatantly ignored the manufacturer until March. When the White House finally ordered the eggs, they only ordered 40,000, which is less than half of what the Obama's ordered in 2016.
Similar to Trump's inauguration, the event will have several D-list performers. While previous egg rolls featured A-list celebrities like Justin Bieber and Ariana Grande, Trump's audience will be listening to a military band. Oh - and we should probably mention they gave PBS late notice of the event. Because of this, PBS was only able to provide them with one character instead of the normal handful.
To make matters worse, the Trump administration hasn't even invited kids from local schools yet. Melania’s communications director confirmed tickets had been set aside, but hasn't said what for. Sounds pretty suspicious, if you ask us.
As hilarious as this all is, we could care less if this Easter Egg Roll is a disaster. At this point, every morning we wake up without war is a blessing...
