Trump's Reasons For Reversing Obama's Transgender Bathroom Laws Reeks Of Bullshit

On Wednesday, the Trump administration revoked federal guidelines that previously allowed transgender students at public schools use the bathroom that fits their identity. 

Trump's cabinet is behaving just as you expected they would. Jeff Sessions released a statement criticizing Obama for allowing transgender students to use the bathroom of their choice. Betsy DeVos, however, claimed the new bathroom guidelines made her "uncomfortable," however, she obviously didn't do much about it.

She later tweeted that she planned on “protecting all students, including LGBTQ students, not only a key priority for the Department, but for every school in America.”

People are starting to doubt Trump ever knew what LGBT actually meant. During his campaign in 2016, he tweeted:

Uh...Trump...you know the T means transgender, right?

According to the Washington Post, the two-page memo offered by the Trump administration doesn't offer any valid reasoning or new guidance. Instead, it said "the earlier directive needed to be withdrawn because it lacked extensive legal analysis, did not go through a public vetting process, sowed confusion and drew legal challenges."
