End Of Days! Trump Goes On Twitter Rant, Calls N. Korea Leader Kim Jong-un ‘Short And Fat’

Over the weekend, President Donald Trump does what he always does: Insult folks on Twitter and embarrass the rest of the country that he was elected to protect and serve.

But this time around he exchanged jabs with someone who is clearly as volatile as he is. Maybe you've heard of him? His name is North Korea leader Kim Jong-un...you know the same person that has threatened to use nukes on the rest of the world, including us.

Apparently, #45 called Jong-un short and fat” as a result of North Korea’s foreign ministry calling the 71-year-old American president, “old.”

(But isn't 71 old?...whatever)

Trump wrote: "Why would Kim Jong-un insult me by calling me "old," when I would NEVER call him "short and fat?" Oh well, I try so hard to be his friend - and maybe someday that will happen!"

Can someone explain to President Trump that insulting someone for the world to see and threatening in the past to drop bombs on a leader's country isn't really trying to be friends. That's not a cordial conversation.

Be clear: Obama would never!

According to the BBC, this is one of a series of remarks Trump made on social media before volunteering his services over maritime claims in the South China Sea.

“I’m a very good mediator,” he said.

When later asked at a news conference in Vietnam if he has ruled out friendly relations with North Korea, Trump replied: “That might be a strange thing to happen but it’s a possibility."

He added, “If it did happen it could be a good thing I can tell you for North Korea, but it could also be good for a lot of other places and be good for the rest the world…It could be something that could happen. I don’t know if it will but it would be very, very nice.”

Huh?

So how is the White House spinning this one?

Well...first off, White House Chief of Staff John Kelly told reporters on Sunday that he just ignores Trump’s tweets.

“Someone, I read the other day, said we all just react to the tweets,” Kelly said, per the Los Angeles Times. “We don’t.”

He added, "I don’t allow the staff to. We know what we’re doing,” he continued.

“… Believe it or not, I do not follow the tweets. I find out about them. But for our purposes, my purpose, is we make sure the president is briefed up on what he’s about to do.”

Sir, you were brought in to bring some order to the White House, how are you telling the media that you don't pay attention to the president's tweets? Especially ones that are geared toward a pretty dangerous man and could have serious consequences for the rest of the world.

Try again.

Well…here's what we do know: Trump better not start World War III, especially before Black Panther hits theaters next February. We've been waiting on that movie our WHOLE LIVES!
