Twitter Don't Lie: VP Pence Once Called Trump's Muslim Immigration Ban 'Offensive and Unconstitutional'

Oh, what a difference your day job makes! Once upon a time, Vice President Mike Pence was the governor of Indiana and so not a fan of Trump's ideas about immigration reform. This was pretty obvious as evidenced by one tweet Pence made on December 8, 2015—just one day after the Orange One called for "a total and complete shutdown of Muslims entering the United States."

In response, Pence tweeted, "Calls to ban Muslims from entering the U.S. are offensive and unconstitutional."

We know that was more than a year ago, but he was silent when Trump actually went through with his war on immigration. What changed Pence?

As you would expect, Twitter did not let him live. Guess he no longer has to worry about keeping his constituency happy. After all, should anything happen to Trump, he's next in line to run the country.

Even though Trump's first attempt at the ban was short-lived, he isn't giving up. On February 21, The Washington Post reported that he is proposing another ban. It will be modified, but make no mistake that the underlying intent hasn't changed.

Looks like Pence Will get a do-over. He could step up and do the right thing, but will he? The way that this administration has been operating so far, anything could happen. But unless you prefer a bluish-tinged complexion, you probably shouldn't hold your breath.
