MARKSVILLE, La. -- Police say disturbing video forced them to the arrest two fellow officers for shooting and killing a 6-year-old autistic boy in Marksville, Louisiana.

"We took some of the body cam footage. I'm not gonna talk about, but I'm gonna tell you this, it is the most disturbing thing I've seen and I will leave it at that," Louisiana State Police Col. Michael Edmonson said.

Jeremy Mardis was shot five times in the head and chest as officers chased his dad's car Tuesday. He died buckled in the front seat.

Jeremy's dad, Chris Few, was also shot and is in critical condition.

Officers Norris Greenhouse Jr. and Derrick Stafford surrendered Friday night. They're both charged with second-degree murder and attempted second-degree murder.

Two other officers also involved in the shooting have not been arrested.

It's unclear what set off the chase in the first place. But detectives say Few was not armed. Watch the video for more:
