This Is What Happens When You Mix Uber With Rescue Puppies

Uber has to be one of the best things to happen to us in a long time. You can have your own personal driver come right to your door with the press of one button on your phone. No more calling a cab or having to decide who is going to be the designated driver at the next party. And when it comes to the dreadful holiday shopping season, forget about trying to find a parking spot in that jam packed parking lot. Just have an Uber driver drop you off right in front of the mall and then pick you up. It just might seem like it can't get any better, right? Wrong! One Uber driver took his customer service to a whole new level by throwing some adorable puppies into the mix.

Uber driver, Jonathan Gaurano, went to the dog shelter and picked up some adorable rescue pups to take along the ride. He Ubered around the colleges to surprise his passengers with the most adorable shotgun seat riders. The dogs were excited to hangout with Jonathan while he worked, but his passengers might've been the ones that were more excited.

The puppies were loving the attention and Jonathan's passengers were certainly not shy to take on some puppy cuddles. "Pass me the fluffy one. Like, right now." says one passenger.

Jonathan had been thinking of surprising his passengers with puppies for over a year, so he finally decided to execute it. His goal was to create a fun message that showed how adoption is a great option when it comes to owning a pet. He made sure that his car was puppy-safe and spoke to a few shelters to pull this off. Eventually he was able to borrow well-trained puppies from his local shelter and carpool them safely as he surprised his passengers.

Hopefully Jonathan's surprise puppy carpool has inspired you. If you'd like to visit a shelter to give dogs-in-need some love, or if you're interested in adopting one yourself, make sure to check out your local shelter.
