Uber Passenger Threatens To Accuse Her Driver Of Rape Because He Didn't Have A Charger

While most of us take Uber and other ride-sharing services without any major problems, we fail to realize the plethora of complicated passengers the drivers have to deal with on a daily basis. From drunks, to angry customers, to just straight-up a**holes, Uber drivers don't get the credit they deserve.

Take this Uber driver in NYC for example. On Monday, Live Leak posted a video showing an unidentified Uber driver remaining calm while his passenger starts to flip out on him because he was "disrespectful" to her. The woman threatened to tell her boyfriend and the cops that he raped and hit her, and then later screamed at him “go back to your country.”

It's unclear what actually started the argument, or what the passenger even wanted in the first place. However, it seems like the passenger was angry because her driver did not have a phone charger.

Most Uber rides in NYC are generally pretty quick, so at most, she was going 20 minutes without a phone charger. However, that didn't stop her from taking her anger out on her driver.

"I'm supposed to take you from point A to point B, I'm not supposed to give you a charger," the driver said.

When she finally left the vehicle, the unidentified driver took the camera and said, "This is what Uber drivers go through every f***ing day man."

Considering hundreds of Uber passengers do deal with sexual assault, it's a shame that someone would threaten to falsely accuse her driver just because he didn't have a charger. We just hope this man got to keep his 5-star rating...
