This is like something straight out of a Lifetime movie. A missing boy is reunited with his mom after solving his own kidnapping... 13 years later.. while applying for college.

Told you, made-for-TV drama.

5-year-old Julian Hernandez disappeared on the way to school in Birmingham, Alabama back in 2002. His mom had legal custody, but dad, Bobby Hernandez, apparently wasn't having it and took off with the boy.

Bobby Hernandez Fast forward to 2015 in Cleveland, Ohio. Julian, who's now 18, was trying to apply for college, but his Social Security number didn't match his name.

A school counselor got involved, and that's when they found him in the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children database.

Wow. Now, dad's in jail and Julian's asking for privacy.

"Please, no more spotlights, no more cameras, no more reporters sneaking into my school or showing up at my house," Julian said in a statement. "I just want to be left alone."

Could you imagine?! We wonder what his dad was telling him about his mom all this time.
