Want Killer Abs? - Stop Doing Crunches And Try These 7 Moves Instead

There's something about visible abs that's so effin' sexy! Man or woman, a tight abdomen looks foinnneee.

Anybody else drooling? 

Too often, we sell ourselves short, making up some excuse as to why we can't enjoy a life with a six-pack. 

It's time to make a change y'all! No longer will it just be celebs rockin' bangin' beach bods. We may be late to the party, but we're coming! First thing we're gonna change: our exercise routine. We're not gonna be basic bitches doing crunches. We're gonna be doing some physical moves that actually make our abs pop!

1. Barbell Squat

What's great about the barbell squat is it works your core and bum, two of the most important components to a bikini bod! Because the abs have to stabilize your body as you squat, they'll be on fire in the good way. 

2. Boat Pose

If you think yoga is just about funky breathing and peace, you've got it all wrong! 

That's my yoga teacher, and her core strength puts mine, and everybody else's, to SHAME! Boat pose is fantastic for increasing abdominal strength and toning the outline of your core. 

3. Flutter Kick

I'm all about a move where I get to lay down. Not that Flutter Kick is easy. This move will have your abs begging for mercy, but you know that the owner of a six-pack never gives in! More painz for more gainz.

4. Plank

It's a classic for a reason. IT WORKS!

5. Side Plank

A shredded core requires working your body from all angles. Side plank has "side" in the name, so you know it's getting at those non-frontal regions. 

6. Opposite Arm And Leg Raise

Some people call this move "Bird-dog." I don't really understand why. Whatever you call it, know that it engages your core by forcing it to help stabilize and balance your entire body.

7. Cobra

Stretching is an important part of any abdominal routine. Taken from yoga, cobra helps lengthen your core muscles and stretch those sexy abs, keeping them loose and limber.
