Channing Tatum is a national treasure.

Even if you don’t usually go for sweaty shirtless hunks dancing on unsuspecting middle aged women (what’s the matter with you?!), you can still appreciate this charming Elvis-themed charity video with the adorable star of Magic Mike.

The video leads with Channing explaining the gag: he’s going to dress as Elvis to promote the new Magic Mike Live show in Las Vegas. He’ll be camped out in a corporate elevator and try to lure unsuspecting administrative assistants to a make-shift penthouse casino, using nothing but a wonky accent and some slick dance moves.

To be honest, the best part of the whole thing may be the people who totally freak out. Which, admit it, is a totally reasonable response for half-asleep office workers upon seeing an Elvis impersonator in their elevator. One woman straight up refuses to get in the lift, and if you were paying attention, you’ll notice that most of the groups from the first few seconds weren’t shown later – they clearly didn’t follow Channing. Poor fools.

But for those who do play along, they get one hell of a surprise. Most are treated to a mini-concert from Tatum, who encourages them to take over while he does the most compact dance moves in history.

Then, upon reaching the ‘casino’ on the top floor, the guests/victims are treated to less gambling and more stripping. A bevy of male dancers put on a short performance for the terrified professionals, and only afterwards does Channing finally reveal himself – to much squealing from the ladies.

For one day, it must have been good to work in that building.

The video is to support the RED charity in the fight against AIDS. You can learn more about the fund raising at the end of the video.
