"Who you calling a b*tch?!" And with that, fists fly inside a Detroit classroom. This time... it's a teacher caught on cell phone video beating up a seventh-grade student!

Ridiculous.

So, why the hell did she flip out? Apparently, students at Mackenzie Elementary-Middle School were throwing paper at Ms. Burns... when she thought Diamonique Singleton called her the b-word.

"That's when she got in front of me," Diamonique told Fox 2 Detroit. "Saying I'm a 'b' and she started calling me 'b' and I said 'No I didn't even say that.' She was like, 'OK b you got me f'd up.'"

Diamonique says she tried to walk away, but Ms. Burns pushed her, "I pushed her back and we started fighting."

The student's been suspended and faces expulsion, but Ms. Burns is still on the job as the district investigates.

Fair or nah? Watch and decide for yourself:
