How To Judge Someone Based On Their Instagram Account

Judge Instagram Account Selfies

Mornings used to be about waking up and brushing your teeth. But in 2017, most people's morning includes scrolling through their Instagram feed.

This morning ritual is not free of judgement. Not in the slightest! Judging someone's Instagram account feels as inevitable as celebrities naming their kids strange names. But the question is, are you forming a proper and accurate judgment based on the person Instagram's account?

1. Look at the times

When are they posting the pics? For example, let's say there's a great outdoors pic:

Was this posted during the daytime when it was taken? Or was it posted hours later, during which it was probably edited and airbrushed? Analyzing the time of posting can tell you if a person's actually trying to capture snapshots of their life or if they're just trying to get likes and followers.

2. Are they lying?

People love slapping the #NoFilter tag on a pic. But is there really no filter?

This fabulous photo made it onto Filter Fakers for denying its use of the Clarendon filter. We won't judge you if you filter, but we will definitely judge you if you filter and then claim not to. What a snake!

3. Too many selfies

Unless you're Kim Kardashian, nobody cares that much about seeing photos of you every single second.

When we see a bunch of selfies, we're forced to ask if you have any actual friends or if you're just terribly vain. We don't know which is worse.

4. Too many hashtags

Y'all with your hashtags are just shameless! We get you're trying to promote yourself, but this is just disgusting.

Like, we don't even want those cake-pops anymore.

5. Basic byotch

Even if you think you're being ironic, you're still being basic, and nobody likes a basic bitch.

You're better than this!
