You had to see this coming. On the campus of Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas, a student can be placed on disciplinary probation for defending black students--even if you are white.

In November of last year, Emily Walker, 25,  found out the hard way that the privileges normally given to white women have their limits. Some bigot decided to post flyers with the headline "Why White Women Shouldn't Date Black Men" calling our brothers everything except a child of God.

The university issued the customary "we condemn this behavior as it does not reflect what SMU is all about" spiel complete with an official letter from the president, but Walker wanted to do more.

"I was distraught," she said. "I took it upon myself to make a flyer that was positive...I have had zero bad feedback ever."

The university athletic trainer and pre-med student created a flyer of her own and called it "Why White Women Should Date Black Men." After printing 150 flyers and posting them all around campus, the university conducted a month-long investigation which resulted in disciplinary action against Walker. Her punishment is one step away from suspension.

There is no word on whether or not the creator of the first flyer has been caught or reprimanded, but Walker believes that she is being singled out. Don't expect any apologies from her, though. Her intent was to use tongue-in-cheek humor along with scientific evidence to disprove those nasty assertions about Black men--especially about their intelligence.

"Mixed children having low IQs? That is completely false," she said. "I've taken genetic classes to know that it's contradictory to the science that we have."

She even went so far as to champion the, er, uh...sexual prowess of our melanated kings stating on the flyer that "Black Men Are More Likely To Sexually Satisfy ALL Women." Okay, now that's probably what got her into trouble...Let's move on.

Ultimately Walker took a stand to send a message of her own to the racist pig who started this whole mess in the first place. "To let the people know that white women don't believe that," she said. "Whoever posted that, they did not win."
