Whoopi Goldberg Pulls a Raven-Symone & Says: 'I'm Not African-American!'

Whoopi Goldberg is Team Raven-Symone when it comes to the "I'm Not African-American" belief.

“My mother, my grandmother, my great-grand-folks, we busted ass to be here. I’m sorry. I’m an American. I’m not an African-American," Whoopi said on "The View" Tuesday. "I’m not a chick American, I’m an American."

Chick American? Uh... ok.

Raven Symone got backlash when she made similar comments to Oprah, "I'm tired of being labeled. I'm an American. I'm not an African-American. I'm an American."
