Whoopi Goldberg's Powerful Speech About Obama Reminds Trump & Everyone Else 'What A President Does!'
Though Barack Obama left the White House over a month ago, Whoopi Goldberg doesn't think the significance of his presidency should be forgotten or downplayed.
In honor of Black History Month and President's Day, Goldberg took a moment during Monday's episode of The View to remind us what the first black president did while he was in office — and drop some serious truths about what it means to lead and represent America.
"For all of those who continue to question his (Obama's) track record, here are few of his accomplishments," Goldberg said at the beginning of her passionate speech, according to The View.
"He saved over a million jobs by bailing out the American auto industry," she continued. "He gave healthcare to over 30 million Americans with the Affordable Care Act. He ended the war in Iraq and ordered the raid that killed terrorist mastermind Osama Bin Laden. In his second term, he fought to make same-sex marriage legal in all 50 states."
"So if you want to know what a president does, that’s what a president does!" **Drops mic**
